Haven - The Garden
1. udgave - 1st edition

April - 2. halvdel

April - 2nd half
A bit late, but now we're doing the potatobed. The tarpaulin has come of, and those nasty couch grass roots are on their way out. Hard work, believe me, but as we have chosen not to use pesticides, there's no other way. A tiller would just cut all the roots into smaller pieces that would soon sprout and then there would be even more couchgrass. Below the bed has been cleaned and the first three rows of potatoes are in the ground. The advantage of growing potaoes here is, that they will get big enough to shade for new couchgrass sprouts, and that they have to be earthed, which will get rid of even more of the remaining roots.

The gardenframes are getting filled.
To the right it's corn, squash, and the leeks have moved out, along with a black currant sage that has lived indoors for the winter.
Below it's nasturtium, some left over tagetes (the rest of them are having a nice time in the greenhouse), spring cabbage and kale.

And then of course, the things that grows by itself

And a chilli pebber that has lived in the boiler room for the winter.

To the left it's "Money of Judas" blooming.

Forresten - BTW
